Fun but challenging

I love personal training with Bec, she makes it fun, while challenging me physically and mentally! After just one session I was able to fully straighten my legs while I had never been able to do before. I would highly recommend training with Bec.

Update: I have continued to work with Bec and she has continued to help me achieve amazing results. Before working with Bec I had difficulty pushing with my heels so could not achieve a heavy leg press my max was only 60kg. After just a few sessions with Bec I am now able to leg-press 115kg, something I would never have imagined I could do a few months ago. Bec has a wealth of wisdom and her passion for helping people is amazing and I am so grateful for the support she gives me during our PT sessions.

Correct form improves performance


I started seeing Bec due having to modify many of the exercises during group fitness classes. I was in a serious car accident and suffered a spinal injury, so I was fearful of causing harm to my healing and my flexibility was very limited, especially in my lower back and pelvis. Bec has been able to help me improve not only my capacity in group fitness and Personal Training but after just 2 sessions I was able to touch my toes, something I have been struggling to do since the accident.  Training with Bec has absolutely changed my life. She has changed the way I think and helped me perform correct technique and given me guidance for my other workouts. Bec is extremely knowledgeable yet very patient and supportive through every step. I would encourage anyone who has trouble fully participating in the exercise they love to do, due to injury or pain, to book a session with Bec sooner rather than later. It could change your life!

Posture Perfect

I started seeing Bec for my posture after feeling self conscious for years. After only 3 treatments of myofacial release I can see and feel a big difference. Bec has taught me exercises in and outside the gym to continue to improve my posture.

Reduced knee pain

I've recently started seeing Bec for personal training sessions and myofascial release, due to knee pain from a previous meniscus tear. I also had a lot of stiffness in my calf, quads, ankles and hips which reduced my range of movement. I had been seeing an exercise physiologist and receiving remedial massage wth mixed results, it seemed like one step forward and two steps back. Within 3 weeks of training with Bec, I have noticeable improvements in my range of movement, with squats and my knee feels so much more stable and I have less pain both during exercise and at night when trying to sleep. The PT sessions are also helping me overcome my fear of re-injuring my knee. Bec has an incredible knowledge of the muscle-mind neural connection which has helped retrain my dysfunctional movement patterns.

For anyone who is apprehensive about exercising due to pain or injury, I can't recommend Bec enough!

Treating the cause not the symptom 

For so long I have has trouble with effective lower body workouts. Pain and stiffness have prevented me from improving my technique and strength. I have seen doctors and physios and got some temporary relief but they tend to only deal with the presenting issue in isolation, without identifying the cause. Bec has gone so much further than that, dealing with the underlying factors that are causing the pain and stiffness, using myofascial release and simple, but effective, muscle activation to ensure I am performing the exercise well so I can actually get stronger. Until working with Bec I was unaware that I was simply not engaging the correct muscles and had developed bad habits over time, mainly due to experiencing pain while working out. Bec has given me hope that I can be more flexible, have less or no pain and eventually I WILL be able to lift heavy weights without aggravation of my pain. Even if you have been in pain for a long time and have worked with other professionals without much success, give Bec a chance to help you, you won't regret it.

I was told nothing could fix my hip pain...

I have been living with a sore hip and ITB for quite some time. I know it is damage to the tendon and is basically an overuse injury. This injury has restricted me in my training, for example, I struggled with step-ups or simply getting up from the floor or from a chair. It has been quite painful and is especially so at night when I was unable to lie on my right side at all without pain. I also walked with a slight limp. One of the big problems was that I just did not have the same power on my right side as my left. This injury was restricting and painful. I had been told by a physio that there was nothing that could be done and to accept that this was part of getting older.

I started seeing Bec to try to get some relief and to increase my mobility. After only a few sessions I noticed an improvement in both my mobility and pain. After several treatments, I am now able to lie on my right side when I sleep, without the pain. Oh, the relief!! I have also noticed that I am gradually gaining more strength in my hip, and I can now easily do step-ups.

The myofascial release massage I have regularly from Bec has helped relieve tension in ITB and surrounding tendons and muscles. The myofascial release really improved my hips and legs to work as they are supposed to without pain. I have also been doing REHAB personal training. Bec has been working on my mobility and strength. The range of motion I now have has improved significantly as the Bec has taught me how to activate the correct muscles, improved my posture and corrected my movement patterns. I now also try to think about what I have learned in those sessions in my own training as I know it helps me perform better. Seeing Bec regularly keeps me on track.

Myofascial release therapy and corrective exercise have helped me a lot. Good health is everything and being able to exercise the way I want to and to continue my training without pain and with equal side power is extremely important to me.

Is this some kind of voodoo?

I have been seeing Bec for both myofascial release and Personal Training for 3 weeks. Until Bec did her assessment I was unaware that what I thought was a minor shoulder issue was impacting significantly on my flexibility and strength. Being busy and active you just don't dwell on these issues, you just accommodate and adjust.

Frankly, I was shocked when the inflexibility of my right shoulder was demonstrated in a mirror and by example of regular flexibility in a person. Felt stupid as I didn't realise. Bec explained to me how we change our movement patterns to accommodate these injuries when we don't address the issue at the root cause. This accommodation of a lifetime of inflexibility had impacted my physical well-being in subtle ways.

After 3 myofascial release sessions and three REHAB training sessions, I can both feel and see the improvements.

I will continue to see Bec regularly to keep improving my strength and flexibility. I highly recommend exploring the myofascial release therapy and REHAB training that Bec offers, whether you have a recent or even an older injury. She has certainly made a difference for me.

I got back on track with regular personal training

I have been seeing Bec for both myofascial release and personal training for the past year and it has made a huge difference in my overall well-being.
